Mopar Radiators
Without a working radiator in your Mopar vehicle, your vehicle's engine will overheat. It is the job of the radiator in your vehicle to keep your engine cool. Your vehicle works hard and it generates a tremendous amount of heat. Your radiator contains coolant, which flows from the radiator throughout your vehicle, keeping your engine cool. There are several parts that work with your radiator to keep your engine cool. These are the radiator, radiator hose, water pump, the thermostat and the cooling fan. There are simply steps you can take to keep your radiator working properly. First, make sure that your radiator cap is on tight. You can check your coolant levels in your radiator and add coolant to the reservoir if it is low. The coolant reservoir is located on the side of your radiator. Some signs that you may have a problem with your radiator will be an engine that is overheating or running weakly. If the check engine light on your Mopar vehicle is illuminated that can also be a sign. It is important when replacing your radiator or any of the parts associated with it that you purchase quality OEM parts. These parts are made by the manufacturer of your vehicle.
